Even if you have been born again, you may still suffer due to a lack of knowledge. True freedom is only attained through knowledge and a deliberate change in your thought patterns. The help you offer to others stems from your internal state. The greatest mistake that deliverance ministers make is attempting to rid individuals of demons without first undoing the damaging words spoken over them and helping them transform their mindset.
Proverbs 11:9 KJV - "A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered."
Hosea 4:6 KJV - "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
When you read this verse carefully, it says they're destroyed not because they're not gifted, anointed, or talented, but they're destroyed because they lack knowledge. Ignorance is the platform the devil uses to destroy; knowledge is power of God's preservations.
John 14:30 KJV "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh but I am glad, he hath nothing of him in me."
Acquire more knowledge, study the word of God, meditate on it day and night, and refuse to be ignorant of the knowledge of God and our LORD Jesus Christ.

LORD, I refuse to be ignorant; teach me your ways and help me to know you more.
