The Benefits of Salvation

Romans 6:9-10 (KJV) - Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died to sin once, but in that He lives, He lives to God.

Understanding salvation and what God is offering is crucial so that we can receive all that He has provided. You cannot convince anyone of the importance of salvation if you cannot clearly explain its benefits.

This lack of understanding might be why many people have not been born again; they may not have truly heard about the benefits. Jesus Christ came and gave what was necessary, yet not everyone is saved even now.

What Jesus Christ has given us is eternal; He ensured that He would never come back and die a second time. We must understand the work that Jesus did for us, which we no longer need to do for ourselves.

From the day Jesus Christ was born, something was already being purchased on our behalf. Jesus Christ came not only to die for us but also to live for us and in us.

Everything we will ever need has already been given; it is purchased but not yet claimed, provided but not yet collected. When something is given to you, you must learn how to receive it in order to have it.

What we have is simply what we can take for now, but everything we need has already been provided. What remains for you is to learn how to receive it, as receiving is an art that must be mastered.

The benefits of salvation will not be forced upon you; they must be received willingly.

The gospel means good news, and through the gospel, salvation comes to people. Your primary calling after receiving Jesus Christ in your life is to preach the gospel. You are called to preach Jesus Christ, bringing salvation into the lives of everyone.
